The Butterfly Series
The Butterfly Series is currently available to purchase as a three-piece collection.
I chose yellow, pink, and orange for the background colors simply because it is my favorite color combination.
Despite destruction and chaos, fragile as they are, butterflies exist.
Butterflies are a part of the same world where destruction regularly occurs unreservedly. And if you watch butterflies, or bees, or any tiny, seemingly insignificant creature, they seem to carry on obliviously fulfilling their purpose, unaware or unconcerned about the reality surrounding them. They simply live and let live. We are all vulnerable, susceptible to realities we really can't control, but the most vulnerable have a special place in my heart.
I hope that these paintings inspire feelings of hope that, like the butterfly, we too can persist dutifully, despite the chaos. We can live and let live. I hope it also serves as a reminder that beauty exists despite destruction. Beauty and life carry on.
